If you work as an artist, writer, performer, athlete, or in another profession eligible for EKHO, you know that this preferential tax form is a real gift. But at the end of each assignment, the most important question is always: how much money will actually end up in my pocket?
This calculator is exactly what helps you with that. No more complicated tables or uncertainty—just quick and clear answers.
How to use it? It's a piece of cake!
- Enter the gross amount: Enter the amount from your assignment contract in the top field.
- Indicate if you are a pensioner: If you work as a pensioner, tick the checkbox, because even more favorable rules apply to you!
- And that's it! The calculator immediately shows you the key numbers.
What do the results mean? We'll help you interpret them:
- Net income: This is the key point! This is the amount that actually arrives in your bank account after deductions, which you can spend.
- EKHO payable by the individual: This amount is deducted from your gross salary. This is your contribution to public burdens, at a much more favorable rate than standard taxation.
- EKHO payable by the payer: This is not deducted from you! This is the additional cost that your client (the paying company) pays to the state on top of your gross salary. It's good to see this too, because it gives you the full picture of the total cost of your assignment.
One important note: Remember, the condition for choosing EKHO is that you must also have a „standard” taxed income at least up to the minimum wage. This calculator is a great tool for quick orientation based on the 2025 rules, but it does not replace consultation with an accountant.
We hope the calculator makes planning your finances easier!
